We recently visited the North side of the Catalina Mountains near Oracle, looking over some outcrops of Escabrosa Limestone. We discovered these outcrops using Googles Maps. Simply type in a search, click on satellite, zoom in, and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to fly around and look for the tell-tale signs of sedimentary rocks. We've discovered a few new places to search using this methode.

We have added another wallpaper to our Wall Papers Page, A beautiful Cactus flower from the Santa Catalina Mountains.

We finally gave up on Chris Shur's fossil site, I had hoped it would show up again, but appears to be gone for good. We replaced the link with some Interesting Computer generated re-creations of Paleozoic organisms, and this link with Some Nice images from the Naco Formation near Winkleman.

We've cited a few references on our Paleozoic Formations page:
Stratigraphic Section Near Bisbee Arizona
Fossils of Arizona
The Southern Arizona Guidebook III available from the Arizona Geological Survey

We've added a link to this Document detailing Paleozoic Shark Material from the Naco formation in Central arizona. Thanks to the folks on the California fossil site for helping us identify these Paleozoic Shark teeth in the Earp (Naco equivalent) near Sonoita.
